Bee pollen is an excellent way to boost your natural immunity. Loaded with nutrients, amino acids, vitamins and lipids, bee pollen is mixture of flower pollen, nectar, enzymes, honey and wax. Bee pollen is also a great source for antioxidants which are anti aging. Many people add bee pollen to their diet to help their bodies cope with seasonal allergies.
We've loved making this delicious tea during the Spring with bee pollen. This combination of herbs and black tea makes for an aromatic and delicious cup of caffeinated tea, but feel free to substitute another tea base if you'd rather not have the caffeine.
Buzzy Spring Season Tea with Bee Pollen
- 1 Tablespoon organic Mango Ceylon Tea
- 2 teaspoons organic dried Lemon Peel
- 1 teaspoon organic Rosehips
- 1/2 teaspoon organic Vanilla Bean Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon organic Bee Pollen
Combine all ingredients in a tea infuser, nest or bag. Pour 1 1/2 to 2 cups of boiling water over and allow to steep for approximately 3 minutes (you won't want to let the Mango Ceylon Tea steep for too long as it can become bitter.) Add honey to sweeten, if you'd like and enjoy!
