Help light our Isabel tree! This month you can add a light to our Isabel tree from now until the New Year to bring hope to families in need.
The mission of Isabel’s House is to provide immediate refuge for children ages birth to 12 whose families are in crisis. Greene County continues to record one of the highest rates of child abuse and neglect in the state of Missouri. The physical, psychological, emotional, and societal impact of child abuse and neglect are lifelong. Child abuse and neglect is preventable, which is why, for the last 10 years, Isabel’s House has been providing 24/7/365 care for the community’s most vulnerable children, when the family is in crisis. Parents rely on us for help during homelessness, domestic violence, stress and mental health, unsafe housing, and hospital stays. Families who bring their children to Isabel’s House partner with our team of Family Advocates to create a plan specific to each situation. We work to connect parents and caregivers with the right resources to address their crises and build up the family.
Every month MaMa Jean’s highlights a local charitable organization for our Spare Change for Change program. Canisters are available at each register for one month, and MaMa Jean’s matches donations given by our customers, up to $250.
